Abstract

Tympanoplasty performed using 270 degree subannular flap has shown better success rates. This technique is quite useful for large subtotal tympanic membrane perforations. This case report has successfully demonstrated the feasibility of performing this difficult surgical technique endoscopically and thus avoiding a post auricular scar and reducing morbidity to the patient. Abstract

Pleomorphic adenomas are the most common salivary gland tumours. It is rare to find these tumours in the submandibular glands. This case report is about a twenty-year old male patient who presented with huge mass on the submandibular region. The facial disfigurement due to the tumour was responsible for low self-esteem in this young male. The patient was treated with complete left submandibular gland excision.
