Abstract

% A simple, rapid, accurate and economical UV-spectrophotometric method has been developed for estimation of Molnupiravir from bulk and pharmaceutical formulation. The ? of Molnupiravir in Distilled water was found to be 235 nm. The is for zero order of drug and for Zero order AUC. The AUC of the drug was found to be in the range of 228.00 – 243.40 nm. The drug follows linearity in the concentration range 5-30 µg/ml with correlation coefficient value 0.999. The proposed method was applied to pharmaceutical formulation and % amount of drug estimated 99.99was found in good agreement with the label claim. The accuracy of the method was checked by recovery experiment performed at three different levels i.e., 80%, 100% and 120 % w/w. The % recovery was found to be in the range 98.15%– 99.97% for method A and 98.85% — 99.56% for method B. The low values of % R.S.D. are indicative of the accuracy and reproducibility of the method. The precision of the method was studied as an intra-day, inter-day variations and repeatability. The % R.S.D. value less than 2 indicate that the method is precise. Ruggedness of the proposed method was studied with the help of two analysts. The above method was a rapid and cost-effective quality-control tool for routine analysis of Molnupiravir in bulk and in pharmaceutical dosage form. Abstract

Two simple UV-Spectrophotometric methods have been developed for estimation of trazodone HCl (TZH) in bulk and pharmaceutical formulation form by using Zero order UV spectrometric absorbance method (method I) and Zero order UV spectrometric method using area under curve technique (method II). Water was used as solvent. In these Method ? max was found to be 246.0 nm of TZH and AUC between two wavelengths 235.20 nm – 256.60 nm. In both method Linearity in the concentration range of 05-35 mg/ml (r2>0.99)for TZH. Proposed methods were applied for oral dosage and amounts of TZH estimated by method I were found to be 99, by Method II were found to be 98.80 respectively. Both these methods were validated statistically and by recovery experiments. Keywords: Trazodone hydrochloride(TZH), UV spectrometric, Zero order, AUC.

Abstract

Aripiprazole is second generation anti-psychotic drug. Numerous investigations that have been published previously; stating analytical methods. The reported investigations for aripiprazole in its medical preparation and biological matrices is in present report. The most widely employed approaches in analysis outlined, such as spectrometric, liquid chromatographic processes, liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry, voltammetry and gas chromatography (GC). Spectrometric methods for ARP alone and in combination are precisely stated. Which includes parameters like ? max, solvent, matrix etc. and HPLC methods for aripiprazole single and in combination are given in tabular form, to parameters like matrix, stationary phase, mobile phase composition detection wavelength etc. HPTLC methods are reported in tabular form contain parameters like mobile phase combination, stationary phase, Rf etc. LC-MS method of aripiprazole and metabolite including parameter like matrix, stationary phase, mobile phase, internal standard, flow rate, retention time etc. the statistical data regarding the utility of these methods for estimation of aripiprazole published during 2004 to 2019 is precisely presented herein assist in further analytical and formulation research in future. Abstract

Naproxen (NAP) is a Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAID) used in the treatment of pain or inflammation caused by situations such as arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, tendinitis, bursitis, gout, or menstrual cramps. Nap is available in isolated dosage from with various similar anti- inflammatory drugs, esomeprazole, pantoprazole, paracetamol, ranitidine, sumatriptan and ibuprofen. The present exploration evaluates the various method for analysing of NAP in bulk drugs and formulated products. A summarizing review characterizes the gathering and conversation of about more than 62 analytical methods which includes HPLC, HPTLC, UV-Spectrophotometry, capillary electrophoresis, electrochemical methods. HPLC technique are provided in Table03 and Table 04 for NAP alone and combination, including parameters such as matrix, stationary phase, mobile phase, wavelength detection etc. and HPTLC methods are reported in Table 05 with parameters like stationary phase, mobile phase combination, RF etc. Method of UV-Spectrophotometry applied for examination of NAP in biological mediums, bulk sample and in various dosage formulation. Spectrometric methods for NAP alone and in mixture are given in Table 08 which includes parameters like ? max, solvent, matrix etc. Keywords: Naproxen, HPLC, HPTLC, UV-Spectrophotometric, LC-MS/MS.
