Dr Z Zayapragassarazan

Dr. Z. Zayapragassarazan serves as the Professor & Head of the Department of Medical Education and as the Convener of the NMC Nodal Centre for Medical Education Technology at JIPMER Puducherry. He holds a PhD in Educational Technology (Medical Education) and is a FAIMER Fellow. Additionally, he is an American College of Surgeons Certified ATLS Educator. Dr. Zayapragassarazan has co-authored two books, edited the first volume of Best Educational Practices in Medical Education, and contributed to five book chapters on education. He has authored over 40 papers and received recognition as an Air India Broad Outlook Learner Teacher (BOLT) Awardee. He has been a Visiting Scholar at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada. Dr. Zayapragassarazan has led departmental research projects, conducted workshops and presented papers at international and national conferences. Currently, he is supervising three PhD scholars in health profession education.
