Abstract

The Covid-19 has had a significant impact on the business community. Some firms may be hurt more than others, but everyone needs to mitigate this risk. During the pandemic, we had no choice other than to work virtually. As mergers and acquisitions are crucial and strictly confidential, effective sustainable management practices are required. To avoid missing out on possibilities, today’s M&A activity requires decision-makers to make proper choices confidently and quickly. This necessitates clarity and a thorough grasp of the transaction, both of which are becoming increasingly difficult to obtain as the deal-making environment becomes more complex. In the present paper, the author, on the basis of extant literature, has spoken about the effects of Covid-19 and digitalisation on management practice during mergers and acquisitions. Both positive and negative impacts are shared. He opines that during the current era of rapid digitalisation, companies need to adapt to changes and sustainable management practices should be extensively used to be prepared for future uncertainties. Abstract

Digital technology is present within each stage of process and are present at all the stages as well. There are two types of models in digital servitization. These two are continuous and discontinuous processes. The continuous model helps to develop the existing business model of the company and enhances it for better understanding. Discontinuous model makes a whole new business model for the company and scraps out the old model. The company has to change its whole business model when they adopt discontinuous model for itself. This model is more time consuming and more costly than the other. Keywords: Digital Servitization, Servitization, Transformation

Abstract

Traditionally, women all over the world have been saving time in their busy schedule to share with others. Kitty parties allow women to move from the humdrum of normal life to meet friends and engage. They provide women with a way to establish friendships, share grievances, practice self-care, and find comfort in the sisters built during this encounter. Each month, a group of women come together for a cat party filled with local music, games, and local delicacies. During this circle, each guest contributes a set amount of money to a bag called a kitty. This kitty is designed for a specific member every month. At the end of the kitty party, that member takes his or her winning money home and is responsible for hosting the next kitty party. This process continues until all the women in the group have found the kitty once, and then it starts again. This paper is focused for micro finance through kitty party. Abstract

The limitations of traditional financial reporting led to the beginning of integrated reporting which provided a holistic view of progress and performance of organisations leading to value creation. Integrated reporting is a multi- capital approach that emphasises on human capital, intellectual capital, manufactured capital, social & relationship capital, and natural capital along with financial capital. Although, not mandatory in India yet, many companies make disclosures on integrated reports with their financial and sustainability reports voluntarily. The present paper aims to study integrated reporting practices of select Indian Banks for the year 2021- 22 and to make a comparative analysis with that of FY 2020-21. The study also aims to make recommendations as to future of integrated reporting in India. Secondary data from select banks’ annual reports for the years 2020-21 and 2021-22 was collected and analysed. The findings reveal that private sector banks are more actively involved in integrated reporting practices as compared to public sector banks. Also, banks are making efforts to increase all the six capitals year-on-year basis.
