The powdered Bark was subjected for extraction by using ethanol. These extract were evaluated for detection of various secondary metabolites, like Glycosides, tannins, Terpenoides, Alkaloids, Flavonoids. The preliminary phytochemical screening were done using various chemical test. The study show presences of Glycosides. These secondary metabolites having role in chronic disease as well as they act as source of nutrient.
