Ubiquitous nature of technology has metamorphosed every corner of human life and education is no more remained as an exception to it. The increased use of technology in education has dramatically transformed the nature of education. Technology has facilitated not only teaching and learning modes and methods but also evaluation tools that has brought revolutionary changes in education initiating technology enabled life- long learning and self-learning. It has made education more democratic allowing everyone to have equitable access through technology to all available education. Today, learning in classroom for specific period with peers and mentors is an obsolete concept for technology has changed every space and time into learning space and time and it has made possible to learn all 24/7 with peers and mentors. The CAL/MAL, distance learning, virtual learning, synchronous, asynchronous learning, self-paced learning and trainer-led learning are a few categories of technology-enabled learning. Technology enabled andragogy evidenced as more beneficial, fruitful and retentive that assists to achieve HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skills) specified in Bloom and Anderson’s revised taxonomy vis-à-vis traditional andragogy which achieves LOTS (Lower Order Thinking Skills). Even, the National Education Policy - 2020 has emphasized significantly on the use of technology in andragogy in its Chapter – 19. Technology is added as third significant dimension to the earlier two viz. andragogy and content. The indelible mark of technology has enforced the educationists to integrate it with content and andragogy through Blended Classroom Model.
