In this research, we will mention about types of waves such as; p-waves, s-waves, rayleigh waves, water waves, shallow water waves. Later, wave equation will be shown in 1-dimension, 2-dimension and it will be concerned with D'Alembert's method to solve many types of wave equations. In our research, some types of waves will be modelled with Matlab to show.
