INTRODUCTION Oxidative stress is known to be a key factor associated with preeclampsia. Glutathione Peroxidase(GPx), an antioxidant enzyme along with c Glutamyl transferase (GGT) is responsible for protecting cells from damage due to free radicals like hydrogen and lipid peroxides.
