Abstract
Probiotics are very important for our daily life and as food. However, they must be safe to consume. There can be many bacterial contaminants present in curd bought from the market, which can cause infections. We studied curd samples and found many such pathogens as well as Acid fast bacilli. Hence, one should be cautious while consuming curd bought from market. This is an important but neglected area of public health research. Keywords: Probiotic, Curd, Pathogen
