I am a Professor in the Department of Physiology at VMMC & Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi, India with established expertise spanning Clinical and Translational Physiology, Cognitive Neuroscience, and Medical Education. A major recent focus is on Cognitive Neuroscience, particularly the study of Working Memory and its modulation by physiological and pathological states. My publications include investigations into: *The impact of the menstrual cycle phases on auditory and visuospatial working memory. * Cognitive performance in young adults with conditions like Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) and effect of OCP treatment. * The neuropsychological sequelae of the post-COVID condition, specifically identifying a preferential impairment in auditory working memory.
