Anil Kumar is a researcher in the field of Medical Microbiology and currently serves as a Tutor in the Department of Microbiology at Shree Gorakhnath Medical College Hospital and Research Centre, Mahayogi Gorakhnath University, Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, India. He is also a PhD scholar in Medical Microbiology at Mahayogi Gorakhnath University, Gorakhpur. He completed his B.Sc. in Medical Microbiology from Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University, Kanpur and M.Sc. in Medical Microbiology from Integral University, Lucknow. His research interests focus on clinical microbiology, antimicrobial resistance (AMR), bacteriological profiling of infectious diseases, and antibiotic susceptibility patterns of clinical isolates. His work emphasizes the detection and characterization of multidrug-resistant organisms such as ESBL and MBL producing bacteria. His research aims to contribute to improved diagnostic strategies, infection control, and antimicrobial stewardship to combat the increasing threat of antibiotic resistance in healthcare settings.
