Fizouli Faradjev, a Soviet, Azerbaijani and Swedish scientist and educator, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor, Member of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences is one of the pioneers of nanophotonics. Awarded the honorary title Honored Worker of Science and Education by the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences for developing priority scientific areas, establishing schools, and education.
