Dr. Sanjib Saha is an Assistant Professor of Zoology at Vidyasagar College for Women, Kolkata (affiliated with the University of Calcutta). He had more than 10 years of teaching and 20 years of research experience. He had worked as a Project Fellow of DRDO-DRL and UGC. He has more than 34 research publications in leading Indian and foreign Journals, books, and Book chapters. Dr. Saha has already attended and presented papers at 20 national and international conferences throughout India. Now he has engaged himself in post-doctoral research work at WBUAFSC and is pursuing a D.Sc. as registered post doctoral researcher at Adamas University. He has experience in the completion of two research projects and the sanction of one major research project of 20 lahks. Research fields of his principal interest are Immunology-pathology, Toxicology, and Public Health. He was selected as a summer research fellow by the Indian Academy of Science, Bangalore in the year 2013 and his paper was selected twice as an Award for Excellence in WBSSTC-2013 and 2024. The research abstract was selected for oral presentation and received the certificate as 2nd prize winner in the National seminar, organized by Justice Basheer Ahmed Sayeed College for Women, in Chennai, 2023. He got the Global Best Zoologist Award in GABELS- 2024 (D. A. V. College, Lalitpur, Kathmandu, Nepal), Emerging Scientist 2024 Awarded in TIAEHSD - 2024 (Quantum University, Roorkee, India), Best Researcher Award – 2024 (CCAEHCS – 2024 (Maharashtra, India). He has common basic Interdisciplinary knowledge and research experience (history of science, philosophy, microbiology, and environmental science) to conduct the project. He is pursuing his D.Sc. in bacterial infection and public health. He has critical thinking, understanding, and analysis of ideas and concepts. He has the power of effective writing and communication skills to present research findings clearly and concisely. He can design and execute research projects, including setting timelines, milestones, and deliverables. In his college experience research teams present, including guiding and mentoring research assistants.
