Sachitanand Singh

Mr. Sachitanand Singh is PhD scholar and Assistant Professor at Chandigarh University, Punjab, previously he has worked at Chitkara University, Punjab and he has been headed department of optometry, Abhaya Group of Institutions, Bangalore as a Vice-Principal, he also worked at Lenskart as a senior Optometrist Trainer for the south region, he has been a program manager India for vision science academy, UK. He has completed his B.Optom(2010) from Vidyasagar College of Optometry and vision sciences, Kolkata and M.optom(2014) from Chitkara University, Punjab He has been a clinician, Educator, Researcher, and data analyst for the last 10 years in the field of eye health He has presented his research work at many conferences and published many articles in national and international journals, he also has 6 patents and received a 2.5 lakh of patent grant in 2023 He has mentored and guided near about 50 projects for under and post-graduate optometry students He was selected as a young leader program in 2022 by India Vision Institute (IVI) He was selected by WCO for Optometry Program in Advocacy and Leadership (OPAL) in 2023 and OPAL mentor in 2024, where he is mentoring 2 people of OPAL participant He was selected by ASCON for best faculty of the year Award in 2023 His area of interest is Pediatrics optometry and Data analysis.
