Dr. T. Raja, Currently working as a librarian of St. Xavier’s College of Education (Autonomous), Palayamkottai from 2013. He has completed BLIS, MLIS from Annamalai University, M.Phil from Alagappa University and Ph.D from Bharathiar University. He has also cleared the State Level Eligibility Test (SET) from Bharathiar University. His area of specialization namely Library Management, Metric Studies, E-Resources, Research Visibility Tools and User Studies. He has published 15 articles in reputed journals, seven papers in the editorial books and 54 papers in the national and international conference proceedings. He has attended 87 national and international conferences, seminars and workshops. He has completed eight online courses through SWAYAM and UDEMY. He was attended 67 webinars through various reputed institutions and participated more than 54 online quizzes. He served as a resource person in 26 programmes and delivered a guest lecture on various topics in reputed academic institutions and public library training programmes and handled the classes for the B.Ed Students of at St. Xavier’s College of Education (Autonomous) where he is working at present and Tamil Nadu Open University. He has been organized NET examination coaching programmes for the last seven years and so far 263 PG Students and PhD Scholars in social science subject have benefited and among them, seven of them cleared the NET examination. He was organized 62 programmes including Seminar, Workshop, Library Orientation Programme, Library Week Celebrations, World Book Day, and UGC-NET Preparatory Programme in the working institution and served as a member of organizing committee in the seminars and conference hosted in different locations. He served as a Member of Editorial Board in International Journal of Information Technology and Library Science (IJITLS). He was acted as a Co-Research supervisor for Scholar in LIS at Annamalai University and also acted as a doctoral member for the PhD Scholar in Library and Information Science at Bishop Heber College (Autonomous), Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirapalli and Manonmaniam Sundaranar University,Tirunelveli. He was received the AUTOLIB Tamil Nadu best young librarian award from the year 2013, Best Librarian for the Year 2016 from TEAM Trust, Tirunelveli and National Dynamic Librarian Award for the year 2018 from Edusys and SALIS. He was received the best paper award in the SALIS National Annual Conference on 2011. He was received the UGC-Travel Grant for attending the international symposium at Eastern University of Sri Lanka in 2018. Two times (2018, 2019) visited to Sri Lanka for participated and presented the research paper in the international symposium at Eastern University, Sri Lanka and 3rd International Conference on Library and Information Management at University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka. He has completed five online courses through Swayam portal. He was received Rs. 2,40,000 from various funding agencies namely Raja Rammohun Roy Library Foundation, Kolkata, Tamil Nadu State Council for Science and technology, Chennai and Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), New Delhi towards organization of seminars and workshops.
