Ashek Elahi Noor

I am Dr. Ashek Elahi Noor, and I work in the Dental Public Health department of the Sapporo Dental College & Hospital in Dhaka, Bangladesh, as an Associate Professor and Dental Public Health educator. My Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree from the University of Dhaka was awarded to me in 2007. After his internship at this university, I was hired in March 2009 as a Lecturer/Medical Officer in the Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery department. After being transferred from the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, I served as a lecturer at Dental Public Health from 2013 to 2016. I was promoted to Assistant Professor and Dental Public Health Educator in this institution\'s Dental Public Health department after that. In addition, as of March 1, 2024, I will be an Associate Professor in this Dental Public Health department. Research Interest 1. Relationship between stopping smoking tobacco and increased smokeless tobacco (SLT) usage and their effects on mental health among the young population 2. Investigating the relationship between Vitamin D or K deficiencies and Dementia with its impact on oral health among the elderly population
