Abstract
Resin-based composites are today one of the most widely used restorative materials. However, its most debilitating problem is volumetric shrinkage due to polymerization which may result in contraction stress and subsequent micro leakage and adhesion failure. Preheating composites prior to polymerisation have several advantages over conventional composites.
