Adenoid cystic carcinoma (ACC) is a neoplasm arising from salivary gland epithelium that affects commonly minor salivary glands, among which palate being the most common site. ACC accounts for about 1% of malignancies that do affect the head and neck region. It usually affects the individuals in the 5th and 6th decade of life. Clinical course is characterized by indolent, locally invasive growth with high propensity for perineural invasion, local recurrence and distant metastasis. Here we report a case with the unusual presentation of ACC in the young male patient.
