Meta-analysis of postbiotics on evaluating health benefits and mechanisms

The potential adverse effects of metabiotics (probiotics-based act as effector molecules or regulatory factors), pharmabiotics (profunctional metabolites produced by gut microbiota (GMB)), and postbiotics (multifunctional metabolites and structural compounds of food-grade bacteria) on GMB have rarely been reviewed. These multifunctional components offer various intriguing capabilities that could be used to prevent certain diseases or disorders, alleviate their symptoms, or treat them. The correlations between these vital microbes and GMB are incredibly interesting and crucial regarding human nutrition and health. In addition, these naturally occurring bioactive play a role in regulating signaling pathways, controlling metabolic dysbiosis, and modulating immunological function. This study discusses the promise of meta, pharma, and postbiotics as new classes of pharmaceutical drugs and their effective mechanisms connected with GMB–host cell-to-cell contacts. These processes are associated with therapeutic effects that are vital in maintaining the equilibrium and integrity of the host microbiome. In addition, this article discusses and analyzes recent discoveries in bioinformatics and metabolomics about GMB and this important biotics. Keywords
