Bibliotherapy is the use of books and other reading materials for healing the sick. This paper draws a panoramic view of the bibliotherapy, its historical background, needs and applications. An attempt has been made to shed light on the book selection for bibliotherapy, its method and process, its pros and cons, along with its limitations and challenges.
