In recent years, yoga has gained recognition for its positive impact on mental health, particularly in stress reduction. This review evaluates the evidence supporting the effectiveness of yoga interventions in alleviating stress across different demographics. We investigate the physiological and psychological mechanisms underlying yoga's influence on stress responses, compare its efficacy to other stress management techniques, and discuss its potential as a complementary or alternative treatment.
