Power plants are always at a distance from each other, and monitoring, collecting and transmitting information to dispatching centers, especially in smart grids, is a challenge. In case of receiving information from these centers and their visibility, reduction of maintenance, safe operation and reduction of other costs will be achieved. The SCADA system for monitoring and controlling power plants and substations is usually geographically extensive, so by installing remote terminal units (RTUs) with secure communication infrastructure and Appropriately on the PLC network, real-time data collection is taken from all power plants across the country and sent to the national dispatching as soon as possible. In this paper, a real example of the studied system is fully introduced and how to send power plant information using Frequency Shift Keying (FSK) modulation to dispatching centers, by remote terminal unit (RTU). In the context of SCADA systems, precision instruments have been simulated in MATLAB software, and the results obtained indicate the optimal performance of the data modulation and demodulation system and the receipt of information correctly.
